Wow! Our beloved Morse Family came to California ~ everyone except the new Mrs. Jake Mooney, that is. (Hey ~ we missed you guys!) Anyway, what a great thing it was to have so many Xanga folks here to celebrate their being here... BusDiva (Bev), Mark (MarkAlan), Miss Sarah, her mom and brother, and the whole Skaggs family (emttim) who got the Morses here!

People, pizza, and pop ~ party staples!

Where's their pizza??? (These hardy guys were sitting in some serious heat outside!

Oh! And cake. I forgot to say cake.
Oh, boy... I wish I had a video of Autumn playing piano (beautifully!)
and singing (also beautifully) a song she'd written. I wept. Here she is with Gracie who had just zipped home between evening classes
for a few precious moments with our friends.

Hope and the Morse boys have a deep conversation.... about Star Wars. Think they
need some more cups? (Richard is probably about to tell a joke. What a fun guy!!)

The whole Morse family (minus Amber) sang some beautiful songs to
Victoria before she went to bed. Full, rich harmony! Sooo lovely. I was
blown away. I had no idea how much talent this family has!

A wi-fi moment, later in the evening. We got to watch a video of what's going
on in the Morse's ministry in Thailand.

And there we are... most of us, anyway.
What a blessed day ~ and one I won't forget. Thank you all for coming! (I think it must have taken Miss Sarah and her family members an hour to get here!) And now our Morses are back safely in Thailand. Thank you, God, for bringing them here. And thank you for getting them home safely. (Hope Carrie made it safely to Bob Jones!)

What a great day you all had! I am so sorry that we couldn't make it!
We so enjoyed our special day with the Morse family the day before, but it would have been so nice to get to see the rest of you, too!!!
God bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey hey! Thanks for posting pictures! Jake and I would have LOVED to have been there, but we have been quite busy and plan to be out there by this winter!
Looks like you all had blast, so I'm glad they all got to see you guys! I know my mom has been dreaming of going out there since my dad, Angela, and I were there.
Blessings!@mber (& Jake)
Hi! You are Mrs. Conte, I'm assuming? I've heard a lot about you from the Morses, and I've seen your xanga pic on several of their sites! Yes, I'm from KS, this is where I live most of the year, but I live 2-3 months in CO with my grandparents, helping them out. Though I've lived in KS my entire life, I don't know many people from Ft Leavenworth, I'm live down south of Wichita, near the OK border. Where do you live in CA? Near the Skaggs?
Awe..... Sue, it almost made me cry to see the pictures and remember our precious time together! It was such a beautiful time, but I would have loved to have had many more hours to share. It was WONDERFUL!!!!
I tried to update and couldn't even get to where you could do another entry. I tried for about ten minutes! Felt real stupid!
Anyway, I did try again and found it, but got interrupted before I could even download a picture! (big sigh). I promise to keep trying!
Anyway, thanks so much for the great party! And THANKS so much to all of you who made huge efforts to come and see us. I treasure it as one of my highlights of furlough! The only thing that could have made it better was for MORE TIME and Amber and Jake to have been there with us too!
AHHH!!!! I looked SO sunburned!!
That was SUCH an AMAZING time with you all!!! I'm sorry for not posting sooner, but I've just been so busy and I'm still working so much I'm swamped and hardly EVER have time for xanga AND Facebook!
Thank you for blessing me with your amazing and wonderful family!!! I wish we'd had more time together! Next time!
love you all!!!
rest in His arms,~Autumn~
